David J. Zavaletta is a 2004 graduate of the University of Texas with a BA in Psychology. He later gained an MBA in Hospitality & Tourism from Hotel School of Lausanne in Switzerland. He has extensive experience in luxury hospitality, residential and commercial real estate, sales and business management. He has been a licensed Texas Realtor© since 2015 and practices a full-service, multi-discipline approach to real estate, delivering both cutting-edge real estate analysis and best practices combined with the consistency and discipline of luxury hospitality management. David's style and methods bring order and predictability to the chaos of real estate transactions.


David grew up in the Rio Grande Valley and moved to Austin, TX in 1999, where he graduated from UT and held positions in finance and operations with Omni Hotels for nearly a decade. He went on to pursue graduate studies in tourism and business in Switzerland, where he excelled to the top of his graduating class of 2008 and continued building his brand as regional sales manager in a Swiss-based tourism technology start-up, operations manager in an alpine luxury passenger transport company, and consulted for the owner in the marketing and sale of one of the largest ski chalets in Switzerland. David then continued his real estate practice in Texas with 512 Metro Realty and later Realty Austin in residential and commercial sales and leasing. He acted as buyer's and eventual seller's agent of a unique, 300-acre tactical training and outdoor sports ranch in Central Texas, and has negotiated all kinds of real estate deals, from single-family homes to large commercial projects.


David moved back to the Rio Grande Valley in 2025 to be closer to his family and practices residential and commercial real estate with a passion. He delivers a focused, knowledgeable, high-output real estate experience for all his clients, consistently going above and beyond.
