Background:
Chuck Wills was born in the Rio Grande Valley but his south Texas heritage began much earlier. His ancestors came from Nebraska to the Valley 100 years ago in 1919 as pioneer farmers and settlers, farming large tracts of land with cotton, grain and citrus and conducting business with other well-known valley pioneers like John Shary and John Closner.

Family:
Chuck and his wife Janice have been married for over 30 years and they have raised four amazing children. He loves to spend his free time with them camping, backpacking, fishing, enjoying God’s creation and riding his beloved Goldwing.

Education:
Chuck earned his Bachelor’s degree in Theology and a minor in Missionary Methods in 1988 from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK., and has been a missionary to several countries including Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala, Bahamas, St. Lucia, Trinidad & Tobago.

Work Experience:
Chuck has been involved in the retail world for over 30 years in both management and IT related capacities which included founding and operating Simplified Solutions, a computer company that successfully serviced area businesses with new computers and networks across the RGV for 12 years. In 2009 he decided to pursue his own ambitions in commercial real estate and he now specializes in commercial leasing and has brokered transactions with businesses such as H.E.B. Grocery, Brident Dental, Radio Shack, Little Caesars, Miracle Ear, Tandy Leather, Al’s Formal Wear, CVS Pharmacies, Major Health Foods, Cricket Telecommunications, Blue Onion, Gumbo’s Deli, Ashley Pediatrics, Lima Dental, Bite Squad, Queen Pharmacy, Dinma Pharmacy, Boot Jack Western Wear, VivaLife Christian Book Shop, Lion Signs, LA Nails, and a host of other local businesses. One of Chuck’s passions is helping local businesses establish a presence and then help them franchise to multiple locations. One such business is Los Pasteles Caseros de Gaby, the valley’s premier upscale wedding cake store. Chuck has helped them to grow from a single home base of operations on south 10th St. in McAllen, to 3 other successful locations; Shary Rd in Mission and N.10th St in McAllen, and a brand new location opening in 2022 on Trenton Rd.

While building his real estate experience as a leasing agent since 2009, he also served concurrently for 6 years as the property manager for a local property management company, managing 6 shopping centers, over 230,663 sf and over 150 tenants as well as managing the leasing of over 50 Executive Offices. That role also included general contracting oversight of tenant build-outs and shopping center renovations. He is currently the Rio Grande Valley’s exclusive brokerage representative for WellMed Medical Management and has successfully procured over 63,000 sf of new medical space for them in 5 locations across the RGV since 2018.

Chuck has earned a reputation in the marketplace as a trusted real estate agent that values integrity, fairness and honesty. Chuck’s future involves real estate investing and development as well as continued men’s ministry efforts, which include speaking & authoring books, articles and materials geared to help men succeed in their relationships and lives.
